Emma Watson by philippachloe featuring lace prom dresses
My
love for Emma Watson begun from the start of the Harry Potter books,
never mind the films. The character Hermione kind or reminded me of
myself, a little geeky, book worm etc. She has grown up into such a
beautiful woman and she has never had a bad picture.
She
was born in Paris and lived there until she was 5. After her parents
divorce, Emma followed her mother and younger brother to Oxfordshire and
saw her dad in london at weekends.
For a number of years she trained at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts which is a part time theatre school studying singing, acting and dancing. Casting agents found Watson through her Oxford theatre teacher, producers were impressed by her confidence so after eight auditions, producer David Heyman told Watson and fellow applicants Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint that they had been cast for the roles of the schoolfriends Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. She had never done any professional acting before filming Harry Potter.
While on film sets she was tutored for up to five hours a day and in June 2006 she took her GCSE exams in ten subjects, achieving 8 A* and 2 A grades. WOWZAS!! Watson was nominated for five awards for her performance in Philosopher's Stone, winning the Young Artist Award for Leading Young Actress.
Even though the Order of the Phoenix was so successful all three main actors were hesitant to sign on to continue their roles for the final two episodes. Daniel eventually signed but Emma took slightly longer to decide what she wanted to do but after realising that she didn't want to let her character disapear she signed at the end of March 2007.
By July 2007, Watson's work in the Harry Potter series was said to have earned her more than £10 million, and she acknowledged she would never have to work for money again. In March 2009, she was ranked 6th on the Forbes list of "Most Valuable Young Stars" and in February 2010, she was named as Hollywood's highest paid female star, having earned an estimated £19 million in 2009.

She has also just won the award for Favourite Dramatic Actress at The People's Choice Awards for her tole in Perks of Being a Wallflower! This is amazing in itself but also because she was up against some pretty big contestants including Charlize Theron, Rachel McAdams, Keira Knightly and Meryl Streep. Wowzas she even beat Meryl!! Hi 5 to Emma!!
Emma's first non-Potter role was the 2007 BBC film Ballet Shoes, an adaptation of the novel by Noel Streatfeild. She was also in the animated film The Tale of Despereaux playing the role of Princess Pea.
In her first post-Harry Potter film, Watson appeared in 2011's My Week with Marilyn as Lucy, a wardrobe assistant. In May 2010, Watson was reported to be in talks to star in a film adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower.Filming began in summer 2011 and the movie was released in September 2012.
I think she always look 'flawless' that is perhaps the best word to describe her. Her style is effortless and no matter what situation she is in she always looks the part. At first I was devastated when she cut off all her beautiful hair but after a while it 'grew on me' (haha). To me this just proves that she can 'rock' any look which is why she is one of my style crush's.
What do you think of Emma Watson? Any other style crush's from Harry Potter?
xx

I love her style, especially since she cut her hair!
